Karen Sugar is the founder of Women's Global Empowerment Fund, this helps women get out of Poverty and encourages women empowerment. The program offers many ways to uplift other women such as leadership development training, literacy, and health initiatives. Sugar has joined forces with Urban Decays co-founder Wende Zomnir in the year of 2014, where they opened up a women's community center in northern Uganda.
