Nanette Barragán is an U.S. Representative and also an American Attorney, She has been serving as California's 44th congressional district since the year of 2017. Nanette is passionate about fighting for working people. That means protecting American jobs, bringing more good-paying jobs with benefits to our community, raising the minimum wage, and guaranteeing equal pay for equal work, she cares a lot about the people. Nanette had grew up around Carson, she knows a lot about the community since she had been going to the swimming pool there in Carson, she knows a lot about the Carson library, and she had attended Stephen M. White Middle School. In 2016, Nanette was elected and she was the only new Latina to be elected to the U.S. House of representatives. Nanette also serves on committees, she is included is the House Homeland Security Committee. She also fights Trumps wasteful wall. Barragán stands up for many issues , especially for immigrants, dreamers, Immigrants, whether it’s Dreamers, our veterans who were deported, or the 11 million who help the country. Nanette also cares a lot about the environment, and also of the ones who are polluting the country.
