Irene Bedard is an American actress. Irene is known for playing Naive American characters in many films and she is talented. Irene's first role was in Lakota Woman;Siege at Wounded Knee, she played the role of Mary Crow Dog. Irene has gained international awareness and recognition where she played the main voice of Pocahontas in 1995. She was also the model for Pocahontas where they used many of her physical characteristics. Irene had also appeared in films and mini-series such as Into the West. Bedard had previously attended University of the Arts in Philadelphia where she studied Musical Theater. Irene was also chosen as one of the 50 most beautiful people in 1995 People magazine.
