Baroness Trumpington was a code breaker at Bletchley Park in the era of when the second world war was taking place and at the age of 91, she had tried to attend the House of Lords every day. Baroness was one of the best-known members of the House of Cards when she retired when she was 95 years old. She had first joined the Lords in the 1980's. Baroness was a land girl during World War II, and was working on the farm during that time. Baroness was also fluent in German and French, and worked as an cypher clerk at Bletchley Park where she transmitted messages from the german submarines to the codebreakers. She had also entered civic politics where she had entered as an Cambridge councillor in the early 19600s and was the citys mayor from 1971-1972.
