By: Jamaly Collado | Date Added:

Miranda Wang is a trailblazing environmentalist on a mission to tackle the global plastic pollution crisis. Born in Vancouver, Canada, Miranda’s passion for sustainability was ignited at a young age. Witnessing the devastating effects of plastic pollution on a school trip to a waste-management facility, Miranda knew she had to take action. Miranda co-founded BioCollection, a company dedicated to revolutionizing plastic recycling. Their innovative technology breaks down plastic waste that was previously considered unrecyclable, turning it into valuable chemicals used in the production of new materials. This breakthrough has the potential to significantly reduce the amount of plastic pollution in our oceans and landfills. Miranda's recognition in the news and science articles catapulted Miranda into the spotlight as a leading voice in the fight against plastic pollution. Miranda’s work extends beyond the lab. She is a passionate advocate for environmental education and has spoken at numerous conferences and events to raise awareness about the importance of sustainable living. Mirada’s efforts have inspired a new generation of environmentalists to take action and work towards a cleaner, greener future.
